Why GCGS was created
Major-power competition is intensifying, traditional and nontraditional security threats increasingly overlap, and multilateral governance faces severe challenges. Europe needs a strategic research platform grounded in a neutral country, able to connect Eastern and Western perspectives and move beyond ideological divisions. GCGS was created to help fill that gap.
